Pralognan la Vanoise ski resort sits deep in the valley seemingly far away from the hustle & bustle of the nearby French mega ski resorts of nearby Courchevel & La Plagne. Adjacent to the Vanoise National Park (ideal as a summer base too), the village & ski area are a skiing haven and offers superb mountain surroundings, no queues for an efficient lift system. The ski pass is superb value and can also include Courchevel. Superb value for the skiing on offer and when you book a six-day pass you get one free day of skiing in Courchevel! Wow!
If you are looking for superb mountain surroundings, great skiing without the crowds (some fabulous mountain restaurants on the slopes) and a serene place to get away from it all, Pralognan is the place. There is also a sports centre with a pool, bowling, gym in the centre of the resort. Bozel town nearby has more shops and supermarkets and you can link to Courchevel or La Plagne resorts.

Pralognan la Vanoise has a ski domain that really lives up to its remarkable surroundings. Right at the foot of the Grande Casse (The highest peak in the area) and at the heart of the Vanoise National Park, skiing here is about as close to nature as you can get. Expect to see local chamois and ibex playing in the snow. From Pralognan village at 1400m the ski area extends right up to 2350 metres. Because of its proximity to the Vanoise glaciers, the snow cover is very good. In addition, there are 70 snow guns topping up the natural snow, from 2350m right down to the village.
