Oz has its fans as it combines pretty mountain village with high altitude ski-in ski-out. With the new link between Alpe d’Huez and Les 2 Alpes due to be close by (also a new link to Allemond down in the valley), it also adds price increase potential. Also, ski-in ski-out properties which you can purchase outright (no obligation to rent) are becoming rare these days, especially for a top high altitude ski area. What is special about Oz-en-Oisans ski resort?
Oz is the ski resort as we like them, right next to lifts taking you in minutes into a massive ski area really high up. Snow is also very good in the resort. There will be also a new express connection linking Oz to Allemond the village in the valley. At the foot of the Belledonne and Grandes Rousses mountains, at 1350 m altitude, Oz en Oisans is a pleasant family resort which has kept the traditional feel of a mountain village while adding the attractions of a modern ski resort.
At the heart of the Alpe d’Huez ski area, between 1250 and 3300 m altitude, 250 km of runs and 2230 m of descent offer plenty of options for the skier… Everyone can, at their own level, try their favourite discipline: piste or off-piste skiing, cross country, ski touring or snowshoe walking.
